Last updated: August 6, 2026. These Terms govern your use of Qontaqt at qontaqt.ai.
Agreement
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Qontaqt’s mobile apps, website at qontaqt.ai, and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Qontaqt.
Who may use Qontaqt
You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law and have authority to use any phone number you verify. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
The Service
Qontaqt helps you capture, organize, and follow up on professional contacts, manage events, and share digital cards. Features may include camera, QR, voice, and text capture; AI-assisted structuring of contact information; notifications; exports; and public card pages you choose to publish. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. Free and paid tiers (when offered) may differ in limits and capabilities.
Your content & contacts
You retain ownership of the contact records, media, notes, and other content you submit (“Your Content”). You grant Qontaqt a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display Your Content only as needed to operate the Service (including AI extraction you request and backups). You represent that you have the right to collect and store the personal data of people whose details you add, and that your use complies with applicable privacy and spam laws. Do not upload or process data you are not entitled to hold.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: • misuse the Service for unlawful, harmful, or deceptive purposes; • attempt to access others’ accounts or non-public systems; • reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service except as allowed by law; • use AI capture to violate others’ privacy or confidentiality; • infringe intellectual property or upload malware; • resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
AI features
AI-assisted capture and structuring are provided to help you. Outputs may be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting extracted data before relying on it. Do not use AI features to process sensitive data in ways prohibited by law or by the people involved.
Third-party services
The Service may integrate with or link to third parties (for example WhatsApp delivery of verification codes, device share sheets, calendars, or payment providers). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Qontaqt is not responsible for third-party services.
Intellectual property
Qontaqt, its logos, branding, and software are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our marks except as needed to use the Service. Feedback you send may be used by us without obligation to you.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that contact or event data will never be lost. Keep your own backups of critical information.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, QONTAQT AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR, IF NONE, USD 50).
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion through in-app settings where available. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive termination.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes may be communicated in the app, on the website, or by other reasonable means. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence require otherwise. Courts in Dubai, UAE, will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any non-waivable rights you may have.
